As I'm sure it is at everyone's house this time of year, we have been busy. This time last year we were in the midst of moving and although it has been a year, I think we have only recently begun to feel settled in. We have met a good group of friends and the girls love their playdates! We celebrated Addie's 2nd birthday, but even bigger news for Addie . . . she is potty trained! No more diapers!! We have been amazed at how easy she made the switch. Addie's latest obsession has been socks. She loves them! She wants to wear several pairs at a time and changes them a few times a day. She insists on putting them on herself(yes, this can take a LONG time!). Meredith is really enjoying school and Rob and I couldn't be happier with the choice of preschool. I have been able to help out in the classroom a few times and have really enjoyed seeing how she interacts outside of the house. Reid is growing way too fast! He has started reaching for toys and is attempting to roll over. He is a laid back baby and goes along with whatever we are doing without making a fuss. We got lucky!! He loves Meredith and Addie and they definitely get some of his biggest smiles. We started getting some of the Christmas decorations out and the girls have been so excited. This year I think they will be just as happy to see all the lights, trees, decorate cookies, etc as they are about the gifts. I really don't think they fully understand about Santa and we are going to keep that very low key this year. It will be a very simple Christmas, but I think we will enjoy it more.
